I am relisting my 2023 Captive bred Male Harris Hawk “Mojave” for sale. He was bred by Luis Rodriguez of New York in 2023 and will be a year old in June. He has one missing talon due to an accident when he was in his crate after picking him up from the breeder. He is also recovering from bumblefoot I flew him in a cast with 3 adult female Harris hawks last season and he participated in squirrel hawking with them. He was hunting at 595g, but I flew him up to the mid 600g range. He has been entered on squirrels and pigeons and will readily chase cottontail rabbits. He has limited mobility in his right foot due to the missing talon but otherwise can fly and eat his meals fine. The reason for me selling him is that I am expecting an imprint Goshawk this summer and already have 2 female Harris hawks I will be working with as well. So, I need to move this bird ASAP. I’m asking $625. Any reasonable offers will be considered. I will not ship, and I will only sell to a license Falconer and/or Raptor Educator. All Sales Final!
